One of the name brands that Sophias Style Children’s Clothing Store sells is Rothschild. Rothschild has been around for more than 125 years and is of great quality and known for their signature styles. Rothschild coats have been worn by a president’s grand-daughter at his inauguration, Violet, daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner and everyone in between.

When looking for the perfect little girls coat for back to school, visit Sophias Style Children's Clothing Store.

We just started summer and mostly likely don’t want to think about winter coats but now is the best time to browse Sophias Style Children’s Clothing Store before fall is upon us once again.
Here are a couple tips to keep in mind when shopping for winter coats.

Buy a size larger for kids
As you know little girls grow at a faster past than adults. A good quality winter coat should last at least 2 seasons for children.

Properly store coats
It’s not recommended to leave the plastic bag on the coat. Instead hang it in your closet or in an air tight plastic bin with cedar balls to fight against moth holes.

Back To School Clothes | Sophias Style Boutique

I know....summer just began. Here at Sophia's Style Boutique we're already gearing up for back to school. Here's some ideas to help you save when getting ready for back to school.

*Shop early. Most stores start selling their school supplies earlier and earlier. When notebooks or crayons are at the cheapest, buy a large quantity. I have a large tote set up in my basement with extra notebooks, pencils, etc. The thing I hate the most is in the middle of winter when my daughter comes to me and says she needs a notebook or colored pencils for a project and I have to go to the store to buy these items at full price.
*If your school has the option of electronic lunch accounts, start making deposits during the summer. By depositing $10 a week (price of a takeout pizza), you'll have quite the credit when your children start back to school.

*When the back to school staples come out, once again buy in bulk. Underwear, socks, plain t-shirts, etc. They will always wear them, and heck...less laundry for you!

*The main tip I have is to visit Sophia's Style Boutique and shop our back to school selection. We have boys and girls uniforms also.

By planning ahead, keeping an eye out for sales and being realistic on what you need..you can survive the back to school rush and your children will still look great!

Fourth of July Fun | Sophia's Style Boutique

It's that time of year. We're approaching the halfway mark of 2009 and the upcoming Independence Holiday. When looking for the perfect girls outfit for your summer get together, visit Sophias Style Children's Clothing Store.

Here are some tips to throw a fun and safe 4th of July party.

*Preparation - My tip for this is..LARGE trashcans with the extra large bags in there. If you have a couple of these handy, then cleanup will be a breeze. If your local regulations allow you to light off fireworks, make sure you have a large (5 gallon) bucket of water and another filled about halfway with sand. That will help in putting out sparklers or disposing of used fireworks. You'll need chairs but when you invite people, have them bring their own chairs. One less thing for you to drag out.
*Food - well, that's an easy one. Burgers and dogs on the BBQ is the standard. You can prepare in advance the toppings and have them sitting out for the people to grab. Chips are another staple of 4th of July fun. Dessert..now that's my favorite subject. You can easily just do watermelon or even some boxes of Popsicles. A always, make sure you tell people that they can bring items to lesson the load on you. Paper plates and plastic cups are the perfect utensils for this day. You can buy them in red, white and blue to help with the party theme.
*Invites - Just give everyone a holler. Tell the neighbors, your friends your family. Don't start the party too early, everyone will be exhausted by the time the big show starts.

When the time comes, sit back and enjoy our Nation's Independence. Make sure someone is keeping an eye on the kids (both large and small)!

Have another party tip or story? All you have to do is click here. I'd love to hear from you and we'll share your tips.

We here at Sophias Style Children's Clothing Store want to wish you and yours a safe and fun holiday.
