Crafts With Peppermint Candies

Spread holiday cheer in a creative way this year using those little red and green peppermint candies we all know and love. If you’re all about saving time and money shopping for girls clothes at SophiasStyle.com, then these “peppermint projects” are right up your alley! They are inexpensive, quick and easy and most of all fun!

Peppermint Candle
All you need for this project is a white pillar candle in the size of your choice, peppermints (of course!) and strong glue of some sort (I suggest a glue gun or super glue). Glue unwrapped peppermints around the outside of the candle in any arrangement you like. Fill the entire space or just glue a few here and there for a touch of festivity. Light the candle and set it out as a pretty holiday centerpiece for your table!

Peppermint Wreath Ornament
Gather five green peppermint candies, your trusty glue stick and some string for this project. Glue the unwrapped candies in a circle and then attach a string to the back with glue and hang it upon your tree! Get even more creative and add little red hot candies to the wreath for the “berries” or attach the wreath to a wrapped package for a unique gift tag.

Peppermint Cupcakes
If you’re making cupcakes for the holidays already, all it takes is one more simple step to make your treats festive. After you frost your cupcakes, plop an unwrapped peppermint or two on top. That’s it – you’re done! You could also use tiny candy canes. They are the perfect size for the top of a cupcake and are just as delicious!

Happy crafting and most of all Happy Holidays from SophiasStyle.com – your home for discount girls clothing from top designer brands.
